help on color codes
I need to know a couple of color codes, I am going to be buying paint for the trans-am and need the color codes.
Crystal red metallic tintocoat
and
Silver ice metallic iirc this one is 79u or something like that,
Please if anyone knows, I appreciate your knowledge

After some research, I found
WA505Q or 89= Crystal Red Metallic Tintcoat
WA636R or 17=Silver Ice Metallic (aka Switchblade Silver Metallic)

I asked a friend of mine who just did work on a TA and he recalls it to beWA505Q digit 89 for the CrystalRed Metallic Tintcoat and WA636R digit 17 for Silver Ice Metallic also known as a Switch blade Silver Metalli, please let me know if you need any other assistance

Thank you, I am glad to have confirmation of what I found. I dropped the car off last night at my body guy'* house, with a trunk full of Sikkens paint and supplies Hopefully it will be back before July 21st which is the next big show in the area here.

PAINT CODES and much more info
I realize this is an old thread but I'm a slow reader .NO REALLY - I want to pass along information on a site that will give you paint codes , options, dates and lots more on your vehicle. Go to COMPNINE(dot)COM and under RESEARCH enter your VIN number. All the FOB information will pop up on (almost) any car. Give it a try with your VIN and learn a few things you never knew. Have fun.
