Hello Kitty Seat Covers
So, would putting hello kitty seat covers in my Bonneville be considered desecrating the car? I'm a closet hello kitty fan (shh, don't tell) and I found really cute covers. I'm considering putting them in there. Opinions? Please don't lose respect for me...I'm a sucker for cartoon characters. lol

Why not... just tell people that you're just trying to protet your seats upholstry... it'* all good as long as you don't put a "Type R" or "SIR" sticker on your car.. we'll still like you...

I think you could get away with it. Nothing wrong with personalizing your car with what you like.
Now, if say Deathrat, sse1990, or Drifter did that, then I may have to question their sanity.

What about a steering wheel cover...am I trying to protect that too? I would never put one of those stickers on my car...it'* not like it would make my car go faster...although that would be a neat sticker idea...one that adds horsepower or something...kind of like a nicotine patch for cars.

Hmmm...I see where this could be going...I can put down Hello Kitty Floor mats so I don't get nasty shoe prints on my nice clean carpet. Woo-hoo! I can rationalize anything! Well, not the actual Hello Kitty car. Has anyone seen that? It'* a Diatsu. It has a Hello Kitty head for the steering wheel...it'* frightening.
Drifter...try Bad Batz Maru. He'* cute, but still masculine. lol

Dragons are awesome. I used to paint the little lead Ral Partha ones. And Citadel...but now they are all pewter. I'm a WarHammer girl. Ever played that game? It'* fun...haven't played it in years. Oh, and you said I should get a 180 Thermastat to make sure my engine isn't running too hot....I was looking at Autozone.com and it was showing a high temp. thermostat, is that the same thing?

A high temp thermostat ( or the stock ones ) are 195 Farenheit ( you can see it marked if you remove it and look at the bottom of the plunger thing ).. you're looking for 180 Farenheit thermostat.. but you'll also need a thermostat housing gasket too.. and those can only be purchased from Pontiac dealership parts. . What it basically does is when the coolant reaches 180.. the new t-stat would then open and allow for it to circulate and release heat through the radiator compared to the stock one which doesnt open till 195. IF you have winter there.. then I wouldn't really worry about it until spring.. but A.*.A.P. would be a good idea for a piece of mine...

I would get a 180, not the 160. The 160 can throw back SES lights from running too cold. Also, no matter what the parts stores tell you, there is an O-ring AND a gasket for your thermostat (found that out in the middle of swapping mine ). The dealer is the only place I know of that carries the gasket though.
