I get tired of mine all the time, i know that I am in a different position than most of you guys, but working on mine all the time to get it road ready is a real headach. See I always maintain my cars and this car was not maintained at all, it makes me so angry every time I go out and drive it and something else is wrong, but someday I will have it all brand new again! Maybe i should lower my standards, lol, I have never had a used car......

No, never. I like big cars, and I like moderate speed, and until I found the Bonneville, I couldn't afford to put the 2 together. Most of the guys on here that said they aren't tired of their'* are */C cars, but I'm n/a, and I still love my Bonnie to death. Dont get me wrong, I'd love another car (*/C Bonneville, or I want a Lumina), but whatever I get next will have to SHARE the stable w/the purple tank.

bored
Never. Even with all the little things wrong . The drivers side seat heater don't work.Steering position sensor needs replaced. I think the left side front bearing hub is going bad. But I will never be bored driving it. After cleaning it up I put a CD in the player with oldies on it and my wife and I just drive around. Gas prices kinda hurt but it'* what we like to do.

Getting bored with your ride, I think, is a pretty common thing with a lot of people. Some just get tired looking at the same dashboard. I used to go buy another car when I got tired of the current ride. I would then clean up and fix up the old ride making it look as good as possilbe so I could sell it for the best price possible. (Never trade a car!) Often, when I was done cleaning up the old ride, I would kinda regret having to sell it.
Now, before I buy another, I take a day or two and completely detail the old car - inside and out. I take care of all those little maintenance items I had been putting off. I polish out the scratches and apply a fresh coat of wax - cean up the alloy wheels and tires. Try it with your ride; when you're done, and it'* glistening in the driveway in the evening sun, the Bonneville will look a lot better, and you will feel a lot better about driving it.

I almost ditched her for an 04 Subaru Impreza WRX... Then I drove it and discovered it wasn't an STI, and lost interest. Damn, I felt stupid for liking that car, haha

Yup, the big problem with me, is the chassis, namely brakes, and body stiffness. Wish the powerband was different too, when you're getting on it, lower RPM torque isn't used much..
3 pedals would shut me up though!

No...never...nada... Previously I was a Soccer Mom (aka MinivanHell). She may no be the fastest car in town, but she'* sleek and mine...all mine. those of you who are parents (meaning you spend all your money on the kids/house) will understand what I'm talking about.
And when I have to drive someone else'* car (if not a bonneville) I truly appreciate getting back into mine. Comfort and safety all in one. People ask me all the time, "...why is that your daily driver? why not get a beater car for winter." My reply is "...why drive an uncomfortable, unsafe vehicle when I need it most?" Yes...I will drive this one into the ground, for as many years as it takes.
If I could afford it...I'd buy a different car though... an 03 SSEi, of course!
