I raced today

the course had a slolam with four cones, right first. A guy at the track told me that if I "neutralize" the suspension between cones I can get through faster, So I tried it... The first two were perfect, the next one got wiggly, Then I turned it sharp to make the last one... Sliding sideways is the weirdest feeling... I ended up looking where I came from with the car in neutral. I must have hit it as I tried to correct. Definatly was fun. I would have beaten a Camaro SS if they hadn't counted the one cone I BARELY tapped.... Even then my fastest and her fastest were a half second apart, But I did it with a real backseat

Next up: Bonneville at a drift meet!

Being FWD, it would be rather tough to drift with the soft suspension and foot-operated parking brake.

only when hydroplaned slightly. I hate when that happens.

Get this, During my entire 180, I managed to miss every cone in the area by pure luck. I can just imagine the fun putting those back.

I've only hit 5 cones, four of which when I had the car a little tighter to the apex of a quick right than I thought it was.... The other I BARELY tipped while coming into this crazy little parking space looking area with a cone right in the middle...

You guys ought to look for autocross around you, It makes a 91 Accord DX and a 97 Camaro SS run 2 seconds apart, Puts alot of importance on driving skill and experience rather than just what car you're driving.
