take a look at this tire, Riken made by Michelin

they have the 245/45-17 for $74 each if they fit your car. that size tire will definitely fit your rims.
do NOT get the 235/55/17 tire, it has a diameter of 27.2" thats more than a 1" taller than your stock tire. you want to stay around 25" to 26" tall. just go little wider.

ok i got these on order in a 245/45R17 from a local firestone. I hope they fit fine i dont want to have to wait for them to order another size. Thanks for the tips, I didnt think i wanted a tire quite this wide but the handling should be good. I almost went for the Turanza LS-V but it was too expensive and this has an extra 10,000 miles on its treadlife warrenty. Should be almost as high performance.
