Has anyone seen this color stock on a Bonneville?
[/img]
I have a 98 Bonneville SLE. I haven't been able to find a color match. It is a dark gold flake. I am the second owner and I don't know much about the first. I have a few small scratches and chips that I would like to fix. Does anyone know if it possible to do this or am I looking at a new paint job?

You need to host your pic on something like photobucket or similar, then link to it here with img tags.
And in the meantime, check your RPO code label on your spare tire cover, or take a pic of it and post it too.

Here'* my old 1998 SSE in Firemist Gold. It was a 1998 only color I believe, but there is a gold on 2000 SSEi'* that looks to be identical, yet I don't know the RPO code for that color.
Pop your trunk and roll the carpet off the plastic spare tire cover. There is a sticker with a lot of 3 and 4 letter codes. On the bottom line you should find the RPO code U 370E
Also, here'* a link to an old post of mine concerning it -alot of pictures are not available any more, but there are a few I made comparing the darker Firemist Gold to the champagne color also available in 1998 (actually 1996-1999).

My car is identical to the wrecked one of your parents, except it is an SE with an SLE package. That is the same color and the same wheels.
