The MUFFLER is definately the key! i truly hate those "farty" mufflers.

Two more item to add to the list of Ricey upgrades:

DVD screens and Video games

i have seen these on several occasions while they are driving!

For the record i like the 2000 Bonneville Body - it doesn't look like a family car! And it has the comfort of a luxury car.

Damn. You all making it seem like i said something bad about the GXP. I like the car. Cant afford it but still like it. Its the new smoot exterior that puts rice to my mind. Thats it.

Default GXP=RICE?

Take heart, I'm with you and understand what in fact you were saying. I came to this
forum rather recently and I've found that these guys are the CONSUMMATE
PROFESSIONALS. Only gave definitions to help out, not to pile on.
Peace

The GXP is nice and clean looking, no rice about it! Period. The clean lines are nice and sleek, the front could be little meanier looking but all in all I like it. needs some Chrome rims though.

As for this

I beg to differ, there'* many audio fanatics out there. Ever go to a stereo competition? There'* many different type of vehicles and most are not rice, I do agree that Video games in a car is pushing it some, but so what, It'* called ICE, In Car Entertainment.

Oh I must be rice by the way.

My definition of Rice
-All show and no go.
-4bangers with intakes and coffee can exhaust and think their hot $hit
-Coffee can exhaust that sounds like me after taco bell
-Ridiculious erector set wings
-Stickers of products they don't even have
-I could go on

My Girlfriend WANTS to be rice, actually her 02 Nissan SER needs and INTENSE sticker

Why on Earth did Steve refer to the GXP as rice??? and domestic rice at that...wtf

I have never seen such a fuss made over the loss of body cladding and the relocation of a set of fog lights!

Its a beauiful full sized sedan with a PREMIUM top end engine...GM has been taking a BEATING on using the 3800 in to many cars, so they go to a different (dare I say better) engine and it still gets ripped on...

Geez seems they cant win

ICE??? Come on, i am not talking about the Suburban with the back seat video player. i am talking about the cars that already have some other ricey attributes. These people are watching and playing while they are driving

the only ICE i see for them is the morgue cooler. With all of the distractions we already have in our cars (cell, radio, kids - atleast those of us lucky enough to have them) it is a wonder we keep up now. Changing a CD on the fly is dangerous enough - but watching a video? Please!

I m not ripping on the car at all. ITs nice looking. If it was a woman, hell yeah i would come at it. I guess my meaning of rice is different from everyone elses.

We need a new approach

What is the definition of RICE itself and can said definition be related to the 00+ Bonneville (from the factory).

I say no...I think I will get across the board agreement here

Xac Xado-I'm just sticking up for my Audio fanatic friends, I agree that having a dvd on in the front while driving is pushing it. It'* all about self control though, I can resist watching TV while driving, got it to shut up the woman during road trips!

Oh and Steve, how can you even say that a GXP is rice? Let'* hear your definition.
