Well, sort of. The timing wont be right until I get the magnet in. But electrically, everything is working. Just need to swap MAP sensors. Really shouldn't be using a 1 bar MAP on a turbo engine.

Ok, I have seen few references to this "1 bar" "2 bar" map stuff. Could you please explain the difference in them?

1 bar MAP is used on NA engines, 2 bar MAPs are good to about 15psi of boost, and 3 bar MAPs are good to about 29psi of boost. At least that'* the way I understand it.

Well, looks like I may have another turbo engine coming in. Looks like another local guy is doing a turbo build, and the guy he had doing the work gave up and said your on your own. How nice is that. I said well, trailer it in and I'll finish. Now I need to get this car done.

Well, didn't think I was going to get much done today, but I was wrong.
First, I finished the rewiring. Took time, but not to bad. Change MAP to a 2 bar, I changed the alternator plug last week. I moved the EVAP purge valve and reran the vacuum lines for that. Hooked the MAP up to vacuum, rerouted some of the wires, and found the extension to plug in the ECT.
Then I got on removing the timing cover. Yep, looks like I missed something.
All this extra work, for this.
I as surprised the engine even started. Ran real rough, and then died.
