I got a spare one if its the stock L36 MAP sensor. But knowing Dan and his resourcefulness, he probably has one in his back pocket.

The thing is, I can't find a plug for the MAP on the harness, unless it looks totally different then a L67. There'* a plug in front I'm not sure what it'* for.

It does look different than the L67 connector. I just went out to my garage to look for the L36 connector that I had to lop off and I can't find it. It looks similar to the TPS connector.

Found the MAP. Looks like the missing plug is ECT, I may have to make a pig tail for that.

Got the 99 harness.

After spending most of the day putting that in. It was a bit of a pain working around the turbo. Also, the alternator plug was different, good thing I had the right one on the shelf. Still need to get the ECT plugged in. But there must be a pig tail for that because the plug on the harness is different then the sensor, and it'* not really very close.

Cranked the heck out of it until oil came out of the turbo oil line, then hooked it up and cranked it some more.

Got everything in and cranking. It'* a bit hodge podged here just hooking stuff up. Need to relocate the EVAP. The engine will not start. I have spark, and fuel pressure, after I found the wire for the ZZP rewire. Hooked that up and the fuel pump started. Injectors are not pulsing. The car has a ICCU installed, and without that the engine won't start. So I wired that in. Still no start. I checked in the car and the ICCU panel is dark, no power. I was done at that point.

Just a few small things to do, like rear struts. Then close everything back up. Was really hopping to hear it start today. Monday will be the day.

What he said. Chris texted me that he stopped at the shop today and got the ICCU to power up. For some reason it wasn't getting power from the MAF plug. I hope that don't mean there'* no power going to the MAF, and was only a problem with the ICCU wires. Going to suck tracking down problems with this new harness. Zoomer said there'* no difference. So far I found the alternator plug is different.

dan, and theres not wiring going to the temp sender.. have no idea what that other plug is for?? is anyone familar with caspers fuel pump rewire kit? they include a fuel pump resistor, and it worked fine on l67, but on l36 theres no wire to hook up resistor to,, we noticed this on wed, any ideas where or if this is needed?? and if no power from maf, well dissconnect iccu, and try it that way. if needed ill get an mini afc to replace the iccu, its been in car for almost 10 years.. should i go with a fixed afc, or adjustable 1?? and we got lucky you had an extra alt plug!!!!
