Mrs V kinda jumped back when she heard the whine! LOL. She says she doesnt really know whats going on but it sounds cool. LOL!
Great work and photos Dan. Wish you had a way to measure charge temps before and after.
Color of the car really leaps out at ya under the fluorescents.
Can your tranny take reaching down into the 13'*?
I seen the sludge and gasket damage. It must be Dexcool. Are you running Dex. Better send these photos to Wren, I'm sure he'd want to photoshop some pinkish red in there. ROFL.

The way I understand it, my transmission can handle 300 HP at the wheels. I think I might be there. The trans is my next area to work on. I'm thinking new axles to start with.

i was under the impression 90% of all FWDs were locking, so that in wet weather if one lost traction no biggy but under serious torque both were equal, thus both spinning...
willing to be wrong, 2 pennies... razysmile: diggin the new setup... congrats dan shes golden... or chromin' i guess would be the better way to phrase it lol
now you need to update the sig pictures for the chrome, new intake, and the intercooler pipes hehe

OEM Differentials are still limited slip. I meant an "E", or "air lock" differential. Total lock, total equal power to the wheels.

Well, other then tuning, looks like I'm done.
Ran the cooling lines.
And then filled it up.
Got it about half full when I noticed some coolant dripping on the floor. Once of the fittings didn't lock in place. I managed to open the lock and get it closed and locked again without getting a face full of coolant.
Added some extra hose to fill it easy and give a area for air to collect.
Then on to drain and change the oil.
Changed the spark plugs as well. They were nice and gray last fall. I didn't change anything and now they are all black.
Cleaned her all up nice and it'* ready to run
I lost a nut driver and it was driving my crazy. I kept hearing a rattle but couldn't locate it. After a lot of looking, I see this.
First scan. I'm running lean, and still had this.
Here'* a zero-60, had to get off the gas, and didn't shed any weight on the car. Plus not tuned. Tires just kept braking loose all the way up.
And now for a little whine.
