I went and looked at a truck while I was in GA, and before I started it, I went through and checked fluids.
There wasn't A DROP on the trans dip stick I showed the guy the stick and said, thanks, but no thanks

okay, interesting experience. I went to look at it today- they didn't even bother to show it to me, just threw the keys at me and said, "You'll find it." They didn't go with me on the test drive either. Hmmm sketchy first impression...
Anyway, it drove pretty well, but-
It'll need the brakes done in about 6 months
No AL7 seats :?
Tranny shifted rough on a few occasions while in performance shift
Interior a little dishevelled, and kinda... stanky :P
And there was... PRACTICALLY NO COOLANT
I opened up the hood of course before I drove it, so I knew there was literally only about a 1/4 tank full of coolant, so low you could barely see it, and I asked the guy if it had been leaking. "I dunno, used car. No, we donno. We buy as is, we sell as is. We can put more in, if you want." So yeah, not much help. Everything else I can live with, especially since I know they'll go down significantly on price. But it being a Bonneville... yeah the coolant thing worries me. Had this nasty smell after I drove it, needless to say.

In performance shift, it will shift a little harder, but not much and it depends on how hard your riding the pedal
I'd offer ~$1500 and then take it somewhere and have it serviced
Good luck if you do buy it
