on a side note, did any 97-99 rivieras come naturally aspirated or were they all supercharged?

After 1996 all rivs had 4T65E (NA) and 4T65E-HD (SC)

Just to debunk one notion going around;
The 97 to 99 SSEi is about equal in weight to a 97 to 03 GTP 4 door
I've been on a scale with my car and a buddies 1999 GTP 4 door on the same day, same scale and they were within 20 Lbs of each other.
I used to have a 2000 GTP, 4 door Dark Bronzemist Mettalic. I had the car for 3 years and generally enjoyed it. On balance though I must say the interior was a huge dissappointment. The quality was poor and seats were crap including the simulated artificial leather they were covered with.
The 97 SSEi I have now is far more comfortable but the handling sdoesn't come anywhere what the GTP could do so that'* a bit of a trade off.
There is one other difference that may not be of interest to you. The SSEi hood vibrates like mad at speeds above 120 MPH, the GTP'* doesn't
Cheers,

I'd get a SSEI. The gtps look good but the interior is really disapointing to me. The seats in the SSEI'* alone win me over the GTP. The riv i can't comment on i never been in one.You should test dirve all 3 see what u do like and what u dont.

I drove an ssei yesterday and liked it, it definitely felt fimilar to my car, except my SE actually feels more comfortable then this ssei. (maybe its my comfy bench seat in the SE ) But this particular car the interior was kinda beat up. Ive droven quite of few GTP'* to know what they are like. The only strike I can think of on a gtp is I know that alot of small annoying stuff tends to break on them. So now i guess i gotta go out and drive a Riv to have an impression of all 3. I just hope it doesnt come down to 5 grand in my hand and I have to choose one of the 3 staring at me! I think I will crack!
