I'm yet to throw a guage on any of my cars to know what the pump is actually putting out. Right, wrong, or indifferent, I just go with the assumption that I'm getting gas, so I'll keep on driving! LOL.

Uh...

Then yes, I have the full instrument cluster

You're telling me some came WITHOUT all that? I've never seen a picture of anything but a full instrument cluster then. Hmmm...

Don't tell me those without a full instrument package had a bunch of dummy lights. I hate those things :? Ick, the one thing I didn't like about my '85 Caddy Deville was all those dummy lights...

And the fact that it broke down all the time, lol That'* what I get for buying a first-year FWD Deville...

Arg...

I kind of thought the same thing, too Should have seen the writing on the wall when they told me it had gotten a brand new engine put in at 109k. It had 187k when I bought her :?

Also, maybe I should have also looked at the fact that they only put the 4.1 in the '85, and they put the 4.5 in the next year. Still, she was a cruiser; I loved riding in her When she wasn't in the shop, that is...

So glad I picked up my Bonnie to replace that thing. Only car I've ever had that was more reliable was my first car, an '89 Mustang with an anemic four-banger and 189k on the odo. And the only reason that thing was as reliable as it was was because it had had almost every major component in her replaced by my stepfather before I even got her! Lol, serves him right for getting a Ford... It was given to me, so I can't say that much bad. Didn't give me problem 1 in the few months I owned her...

I still have 4 gallons left when my light comes on. On the 93' it was 3.1 gallons.
