Not to mention, we are so dependant on gas, it would never get a big enough backing the way our society is divided. If our screwed up gov't wasnt so involved in oil profits, something might get done. Dont get me wrong, we have the best gov't around to me, but they are helping keep the oil prices up, wether you believe it or not. When you pay $50.00 instead of $40.00 dollars to fill up your tank, the gov't gets more tax money. Why would they try to lower prices when they are in the biggest debt ever. They are screwing us out of money, just like the oil companies. Its never going to get better. GET OVER IT. Its human greed.

I could be wrong on some stuff, but I know i am right on some of this. You wouldnt expect this from a 16 year old would you.
I probably should have put this in the lounge section. My mistake. The moderators can move this thread if they like. It'* starting some kind of political debate that could get ugly. Anyway, here'* an interesting article for Lowridr since the doors been open. You sound like an open minded intelligent young man.http://www.rense.com/general12/believe.htm

It'* posted here somewhere.

It WILL work if enough people do it. But you have to send out SPECIFIC instructions, AND get enough people to actually follow it.
But, as mentioned earlier, who is supplying gas to who? (Y'all throw the "whom"* where they belong, I have no idea) I general get my gas at a convenience store, SA, Holiday, EZ Stop, etc. If we knew where they got their gas from, it would make the boycott idea a lot more effective.

If and when E85 takes off, I want to know and be the first to buy any mods to retrofit my 3800 so I can take that kind of gas and we need to encourage third party manufacturers to come up with such mods (if its possible of course). Slight performance loss my ***, I just want to get a full tank for 20 dollars and no more. I remember 10+ years ago when a single 20 dollar bill would fill up our Bonnie to the brim. Now its over twice that. Absolutely insane.

You all know whats going to happen right? once all of the gas engines are converted or gone, (yes it will happen, but in our lifetime? I doubt it) Whatever the alternative fuel will be, im sure we will have the same issues.

Thats my .02

Any alternative fuel in the far future will be more expensive that what we pay now for gas, but we'll get more out of it.

Young pups. Gas was .25 a gallon for me. That was for high test.
