Gas Mileage Question
Yes, she is rebuilt. I had new pistons installed with cylinders slightly rebored (,010 inch). A pretty extensive overhaul of the engine. I use mobil one oil. She really runs good and the body/interior is really cherry. I am very happy with the car and plan to keep her a while longer. THanks for the responses, I guess she is pretty much where she should be on mpg.

I get 19-23 in town, depending on my ratio of Grandma driving to WOT. When i'm not showing off, testing something, or just flooring it, i usually drive pretty docile to get MPG, and to hear a nice steady purr...
Lower RPMS = Lower exaust pitch, and with my setup it just gargles around town around 2k...

with a CAI and a new Cat, mine gets about 27 on the highway and 23 around town. May not be the best, but i like it alot. My last bonnie, 1990 LE got about 28 oln the highway bone stock and i could go from my house to the north side of Kentucky before filling up. havent taken the 94 on a long trip yet, hopefully soon though, now that i have it back and all together and running and the list goes on!!!LOL!!!

That 7 mile commute I'm talking about includes a 1 mile long 600ft rise hill. I'm sure that affects the mileage. You guys in Florida don't have any significant hills. I'm sure that cuts a couple MPG of my figures. Also, I only drive about 20minutes at a time, so my engine is up to temp for maybe only 10 to 15 minutes, so that affects efficiency as well.
