As long as you stick with your stock diameter, you won't lose any backpressure or torque.
Magnaflow outflows the Flowmaster, and is slightly quieter. It also dyno'* higher. We went through this with a Performance muffler shop again at WCBF. If you're after sound, listen to both and pick what you want. If you're after performance, it'* a no-brainer.
Magnaflow for performance (slight edge, and slightly quieter than Flowmaster)
or
Pick your sound between the two.

Really im after the sound but its not all that great sounding either. It sounds like i need an muffler now. He told me to remove the cat and it would be louder but i didnt because i thought it might make my car slower. And what is the stock diameter?

If i could go back in time i would have never gotten a flowmaster or magnaflow .. i woulda tried to get some type of grand prix true Y-Pipe exhaust. I believe the performance would be all there ..without the loud noise. ..and hell, if it wasn't loud enough i'd strip the resonator.
