First time you drove an SSEi
damn I remember when I no longer became an SSEi virgin. a little over 3 years ago I saw this 95 ssei for sale in front of this body shop, it had a pretty massive collision and I talked to the guy he is like hell take it for a spin I dont care. So I drove down the highway a little way and then WOT from a slow roll, I was not holding on very tight and damn I almost went off the road with the torque steer.
it was cool becuase I knew it had some power but it is quite eye poping the first time you punch it. The sheer size of the car makes it look slower than it is.

To clear up my post above, I didn't buy it because of the test drive. I went to buy the car regardless of the drive. I'd wanted one since they came out in 92.

Some time last year. I drove Brea'* 2000 SSEi. Soory to say it folks, I wasn't overwhelmed. Might have been mostly due to the fact that my 98 has so much more room.

The first SSEi I ever drove was Todd'* (Rogue). It was so quick and smooooth, and it was not a 12 sec car at that time (headers, plugs, wires, maybe a pulley). I test drove a 2003 GTP in '05, but never mashed the gas though since I didn't think that certain salesman would have liked it. It was too expensive though, otherwise I may have gotten it.
I surprised myself with my current 94 punching it from a stop for the first time. I couldn't believe how quickly it launched.
