Finally the car is home!!!!
Hi gang,
Good news today as I finally made the transaction for the 40th Anniversary 1997 SSEi, this despite 20cm of snow overnight and howling winds.
On that note, now that I actually have a Bonneville, perhaps I can also introduce myself a bit. I'm actually coming 'over' from the Ontario Quebec Club Grand Prix (OQCGP) as I previously owned a 2000 Grand Prix GTP. I was actually a leased car and after 3 years it went back to the dealer because the buyout was unrealistic given market conditions. It was a sad day because the car only had 36,000 km on it, even I put more than 7,000 km by going to Florida and back in it just before lease end.
I had a few mods on the car; a custom CAI, 3.5" SLP pulley, Gatorback Belt, 12" Front Brake Rotors and 11" Rears, PowerSlot Cadmium Plated Rotors all around with AC Delco Durastop Ceramic Brake Pads, Bridgestone RE730 225/60/16 Tires.
The car would run 14.20 ET at 98 mph all day at the drag strip.
Anyway, here I am back with an L67 and looking to have a bit of fun and look forward to conversing and/or meeting with some of the group over time.
I have a couple of websites for the cars, my wife finds this amusing;

Cheers,
Paul
