Default Exhaust Manifold

Will the exhaust manifold on a Series 1 l67 fit on the series 2? I'm wondering if my headers currently on my series 1 will fit a series 2. Can I reuse my alternator if I make this propossed swap?

Was just daydreaming the "what if" scenario of grenading my S1 in my sandrail and changing to a S2.

Not at all, the manifolds on a Series one are unevenly spaced, while a Series 2 are evenly spaced.

What he said.

The S1 has the same uneven port spacing of the Grand National. They're not even close to the Series 2.

You have headers on your S1?

Headers are easily available for S2 cars, so at least that'* not a problem.

Default headers

My series One is in a rear engined sandrail mounted longitudanally. Headers were a one-off fabrication. I have not seen headers either engine to suit my application,

You probably want to have a chat with Echo SSEi...he has a contact at Pacesetter headers.
