Default Exhaust

I think we should have a thread for everyone to post what there exhaust sounds like, and what they did to get it to sound like this. This would give other members a little more insight into what type of exhaust to get based on the sound they want.

I got the idea when I saw the exhaust post from "doodle4prez". So, thanks for the idea!

I'll start it off. I've got a 3" down pipe, high flow cat, and res delete, 1.9:1 modified rockers.

Please tell me it'* the video'* doing this, but everytime I listen to one of these it sound so ricer. I mean I know it'* not a V8, but I've heard exhaust systems on 3800 powered Camaro'* that sound way better than ours.

This is one of the best sounding cars I've heard.

Having spent some time around these cars, I can tell you that there are only 2 out of thousands that don't sound like two stoke weed wackers going down the track.

That'* one of the reasons I'm a fan of stockish exhuast.

Yeah, I hate the weed eater sound. Unless it comes that way from the factory. I.E. 350Z/G35

It seems these engines sound good at idle and low power, and sound great at high power, but that middle area just never sounds good.

Yeah, I love the idle sound exhausts give these cars.

It'll never touch the sound that my 5.3 in my truck had though. LOL
