Default Drove my fiance'* 93 SE

And was suprised at the difference between it and my parents' 92 Olds 88.
Happier to rev, happier to downshift, and quite a bit quicker. In the same distance it takes my parents' to hit 60, this hit 65. I'm not sure if it'* the mileage difference (140000 vs 250000) or the year changes, but I was suprised at it'* upper RPM pull. It'* no SSEi, but it got the job done.

It'* most likely how the shift controller for the trans is calibrated from the factory for the SE'*. I feel the same way in my 92.

Those Olds have not so hot gearing usually. Much more granny geared then the average SE.
