Default Which do you prefer? Low end power or top end?

Ok, time to throw this out to see some opinions. I am curious. Which do you prefer?

The low end "quick off the line" torquey power of the LG3, LN3, S1 (L27, L67)?

Or do you prefer the "faster" top end power of the S2 (L36, L67)? Tell me what you like.

(If you have a N*, just vote under "N* owner". It'* just I haven't drove one yet, and I don't know the powerband, but I am assuming it has more top end.

Feel free to discuss what you like, no arguements about one is better than the other, be fair to other owners. Mmmk?

As for me, I prefer the low end of the S1s. I grew up around my Dad and his friend working on many muscle cars, and I have always liked the brutal low end, tire smoking power. I'm not much of a top end guy, as I really don't like to go fast. (100mph is about the cap for me).

top end power.. 99.999% of my driving is done above 2500-3000rpm... anything below that is wasteful

I love the midrange and top end of my setup. I can't wait to rev it out to 6.4k+ agian. :P

Low end is ok but having a car fall on it'* face much past 5k is sad.

I couldn't bear it if mine went much past 5300. I want both. But everything I do seems to add torque, but not power.

I'm sure the low end , off the line of the L67s is great. This thread is not about knocking them, but I love being able to blow away just about anyone on interstate driving, so I guess I'm a top end guy. I can see where lots of power in the low end is good. The N* gets going above 90mph so quickly and so smoothly it is actually dangerous (thus the heads up). Just my 2c.

I voted Top end. I have the S2 and Ive had the S1 and theres no comparison.

Then again, if your heavily modded, you get the best of both worlds!!
