So well in fact that I had to use my left foot to turn it On/Off with the foot switch in the upper left corner of the floor well in my '61 Star Chief. Mine also had a green Cold Water Indicator Lamp that came on when the engine was....well..... cold. Today, my VW New Beetle has a Blue cold water indicator just to warn you not engage the Turbo while the engine is cold.

I'm new to these cars, and till I get my manuals, scan tool, and other goodies for my b-day, I'm flying blind on these cars. But I'm pretty sure I know what I'd do once I got the light sheet out of the dash.

Yeah, that is sweet. I do kinda wish cars were more personal and unique from the factory. Thats why I like the Bonneville. Eventhough it shares the same platform with other GM models, it still retains a very unique appearance and attitude.
