Cheap Bulbs?
Well I noticed last night just after starting my car the "Headlamp Sensor" light came on. And sure enough one of my low beams was blown. I just bought them like 2 months ago, 3 at most, and it was already busted. They were called "Hyper White" 55W.... I thought they were cheap when I got them but I got them anyway
I drove 80 miles all the home from Binghamton with one headlight and two 55W driving lights. Thank God I bought these Driving Lights/angel eyes or I wouldn't have been able to see anything
Tomorrow I'm getting Silverstar Low Beams.

Just bad luck. I have had my xenon-plasma el-cheapo head lamp bulbs in for over three years without a problem. Sometimes bulbs just go

I bought the silverstars for my Malibu ( on the road all the time) and what a difference. I love them. I couldn't get the driving lights from the place I got them ( canadian tire) so I got some plasma bulbs. I can't beleive GM put 27 watt bulbs for driving lights as factory, what usless piece of #$@.
Once the bonneville is back on the road I am getting the silverstars for HER ( the car and the fiance, lol) since my fiance gets to drive it while I am out of town all the time.

Capt Obvious says: Make sure you NEVER touch the glass. Main cause of pre-mature bulb failure. Not accounting, of course, for Monday or Friday parts...

Of course he is, I mean, I am! Also, even if it doesn't break the glass, the oils will also contribute to heat build up, weakening the filament (more common).
