If I have a VIN..what is a cheap way to get a carfax or similar report. I am getting a used engine and I want to know a bit about the car it came from.

Carfax is around $45.00
Autocheck is around $25.00
vincheck.info will show some stuff for free
There'* a bunch of other options on Google

Ah, then Carfax and/or Autocheck would be the way to go.
