Just my .02 never tint your front windshild. yes at night it is going harder to see things so keep that in mind, since are cars have the two side mirrors and if you use them black out the rear if you want to like I say its just my 2 cents :P

Please, for the sake everything that is American, abide by these laws. Thank you.
Or if you don't, sell the car to someone else?

Who will take the time to peel it off. I've never tinted my own windows, thank you.

I have seen cops that have pulled cars over that are too dark and had them peel the tint off on the spot, and the cops wiated for them to do it.

Tell them it came with the car. Most cops are jerks only if the person is a jerk to them first.

No matter if it came with the car or not, if they can't see you they can tell you to remove it.

Look at it this way, you are pulling a car over and you have no idea who, or what is inside. Would you feel safe walking up to the window not knowing if there are 4 people with guns aimed at you, LOL.

No I am not a cop but I do have friends that are and the funny thing is they are the ones with the nice old muscle cars sitting at home, go figure.

Must be in Canada then? Most vehicles come with the back windows tinted stock, which are around 35%. I am not a cop either, but several family members are and they hate tint for that matter, but drive tinted vehicles. And usually the cruisers are equpied with a spot light that can at least make out shadows inside the vehicle and tell if the passengers are getting anxious or not. I have never heard or seen any cop make someone take off tint on the side of the road either :?

Me either. I think it is a waivable ticket.

I'm not a cop either, but I know some... I do know that like on our chevy blazer, you can't see crap through the back window even with lighting.

35% tint is not that big of deal either, I have 20% ( darker that 35%) on ALL my windows and have not been bothered for it at all even when I got nailed for speeding, ( another story, lol). But since they are all 20% it looks lighter than they really are. I am talking about having limo tint on all windows ( 5%). Usually cops around here don't care what you do with the rear windows, you could spray paint them solid black if you really want to, but the drivers and passenger side window is "supposed" to be no darker than 35%.
