Yes.....I was looking on newpontiacparts.com and looking at new struts and it says w/ or w/ out H.D. suspension????

there is FE1, FE2 and the F41......the FE1 is the soft ride suepension, the FE2/F41 have thicker coil springs, different struts, and thicker swaybars...also the FE2 had the ELC as a standard feature, the F41 did not

Well if I wanted to change the springs to a more heavyduty lowering spring would I want to go w/ a ?FE2? strut.......??????

a Monroe, or a KYB would be an upgrade from stock
