You keep on mentioning the L27...
Since you're going through all the work and labor pains, why not just go with an L67? I won't be that much more work, plus it'd be the ultimate sleeper!

I think Merlin 91/97'* turbo '91 SSE is also cloth...The car looks like a great project Don, the body looks definately more solid than mine, and I'll assume the undercarriage is the same (mine ain't too good). And the door-mounted belts... you totally need some Canadian pillar belts.
No daytime running lights cause it'* a US car, right?

The body is in good shape, well with a few dents... The undercarriage is great...

The one thing that makes me happy at the moment is that the chassis of this car is in good shape... Nice to see it that clean at 250K ( never know tho the dash may have been replaced with another... ) Hard to say what the milage is on this car, as after so many years FL does not require an Odometer reading... I have only had Odometer readings when I bought the cars from the dealer.. The rest are just dates for the registration...
But it will come together

Actually, Florida stops requiring odometer readings after 100,000 miles, since that is (or at least used to be) when most people stop wanting to pay good money for them. I personally think that the old 100K mark is outmoded, since many of today'* good cars last for 200-300K miles when taken care of.

My 1991 had cloth interior. If I'd of known the 1991 was in such high demand I would have offered it to willwren so you two can battle it out.
Don- you need to fix your sig pic and put the white one in the middle. It just looks off with the white on the end. But that'* my opinion.

The 91 has the best of both worlds... The 91 had some improvements in the unibody, Maxifuse realy center, Only one relay in there for the SSE but it had a bunch of fuses there as did its later 92 models, it also used the newer brake system like the 92... So it did have its benefits...
