It happened AGAIN.. However I contacted this dealer and they are taking back the rear springs and sending the proper ones.. Hence I will leave CC'* name in the clear being large multi southern dealerships.. One thing I did not like was the fact that the free shipping has turned into a $66 dollar charge because of the exception stated in the fine print that there is an exclusion for large or heavy parts.. DOH!.... Oh, and the rear KYB shocks are back ordered till October.. So in view of the revelations about KYB'* stiffness made here, I cancelled that order.. On top of all the confusion and misery is the fact that at lunchtime today I was "rear ended".. Now I have paint and bodywork to do.. That is being paid for by the other parties insurance though..

sounds like you got my luck. i think i would agree as mentioned earlier the only way you are going to get the right struts and springs is in the junk yard or new from one of the gm online parts houses. i imagine it would be alot more if you get it from the local dealer

I returned the product as Detroit Axel would not respond. I then contacted Pay Pal and they retracted the full amount from Dearborn Axel'* account and gave it back to me. If that had not worked I would have had Discover stop payment to Pay Pal which I have done before too.

Now as for the Lucerne, it is still not where I want it. It does have the EF1 soft ride springs though. Very shortly I will put Monroe Sensamatic struts with new bearings and rubber insulators on the front. In the rear I will try a pair of Sach air shocks with new fittings and rubber insulators. In the front I will then just have to live with the end results. The rear I can also try a pair of Monroe Max Air, air shocks which I already have. If they are too stiff, I will unhook the leveling compressor and get the air fittings and manually load about 15 lbs of air in each and as needed add more or take some out till I get my soft ride.
