Default Buick Park Avenue Ultra

My Dad has a 1997 Buick Park Avenue Ultra and is really impressed with the info I'm able to pull from this site for my Bonnie. Is this section the best place to look for info on the Park Avenue or is there another site dedicated to Buicks?

There probably is a site for PA'*..however we see a good number of PA owners here. Seems for 3800'*, this site is the best.

I think Gonneville has a PA. .. maybe hit him with a PM to ask.

I've got a Park Avenue (Ultra), but it'* the older body style way back when the Park Aveune was still a C-Body. But, the C- and H-Bodies are close. Underhood, I can't tell my C-body from my friend'* H-body.

Oh well, tell your dad to enjoy his Park Avenue, because I'm loving mine.

Actually, I errored. The 1997+ Park Avenues are G-Bodes, like 2000+ Bonnevilles. I mush have had a brain fart.

You know what'* full about my car? I looked at the RPO Codes, and one matched up to the Soft Ride Suspension Package. Huummmm. Maybe that'* why it nose dives when I tap the breaks? Oh well. I can't feel pot holes. It'* all give and take.

I guess I just can't get it right. Maybe I should just shut up.
Please ignor any facts I presented in this thread.

2000+ are H-Bodies
...but are based on the 97+C-body, which is based on the G-body...

It gets a little confusing there.

OHIOBONNIE, your Dad'* Buick is indeed the same body/motor as mine, and this is definitely the best place for info on them. A close second is www.regalgs.org , but they are mainly devoted to Regals, without much thought given to anything not on their platform.
We've got forums that cover just about anything with a GM motor here.

I see you're another yet another Ohioan, we're getting pretty big on here lately. If you want a good group of local people, Rogue and I (and a few others) are members of the Greater Ohio Club Grand Prix (www.GOClubGP.com). Mainly dedicated to W-bodies(GP, Regal, Monte, Impala...) but as you can see, I have a PA, Rogue has a monster Bonnie, there'* a Riviera in there somewhere...anything with a Series 2/3, 5.3L, or N* is welcome.

I'm one of the "few others" Ohioans. I just noticed something, in this Ohioan group, I'm the slowest. Just wait until you see Gonneville'* PA, it'* kickass

Not so sure about that, I think there'* a couple members with Series1 and earlier N/As around here. Not sure how active in the club they are though...

Besides, we'll have you going a little faster after CEBF
