For those of you on a budget like me, but this still sounds like something you need/want to do, check out what I found!!
Looks like I need to head to the hardware store and get myself an extra Master Cylinder lid!!!

We have a round cap similar to the one in that picture. I don't think our attempt sealed and have a couple other caps to try it on.
The only thing that inexpensive bleeder is missing is a pressure gauge. That way you know how much pressure is in the tank. Doesn't seem like it'* necessary though. Good find John.
