I used to own an 87 Bonnie and it had the exact same 3.8 engine. There is plenty of room in the engine bay to work. That was the same car that I completely removed the engine and trans. to replace the trans. Wouldn't say that it'* any more difficult/easy to work on than a 3800 powered Bonnie.

Yep, you've got an LN3 87BonnevileTX, I've got the same motor in my 87, it was an 87-early 88 motor. 150hp. Yours is looking more and more like mine in the shed....
