Yes a lot of them have 4.3'*. But, a 4.3 is just a 350 with 2 cylinders chopped off. A 350 will basically bolt right in (it isn't quite that easy), and it is very popular.

Kid at my High School had a yellow *-10 with a 454 shoehorned in if i believe, either that or a 350. But i believe it was a 454 cause i've seen him take off, and it was wicked. Then in mankato at college last year i saw a new Harley Davidson Edition F-150 and that thing flew down a street.... Aren't the comparable to an earlier lightning (new ones have way too much power)

No..only in the SC'd Harley, a friend of mine, his dad has one, he won 3rd place in a truck show. And his is BONE STOCK. Very rare that an un-modified truck places so well.
Mind you it gets waxed weekly. Its like a mirror.

I don't like fords but the thunderbirds 93-97 and lightnings are sweet. I would never buy a lightning or the SRT Ram, all that power with like 500lbs on the wheels? Cmon.

I dont know. I was thinking of buying a *-10 with the 4.3 liter V6. One of the lower to the ground 2 doors.
Plus they are rear wheel driver (yeeaaahh!). Can you say power slides and donuts!
*-10s are actually about 700 lbs lighter than a bonnie and 5-speed is also an option.

those rear tires are huge (would look even better after market)
