ever read that motor trend article "chips ahoy!" they've tested alot of chips, and alot of dyno'* to back up the BS claims. I never said they didn't help, just no where near there claims. you'd be LUCKY if a generic chip gave you in the range of 8-10hp. there are ways of making a car feel faster. like the viper module i think it was called. all it did was when you pushed the pedal down 20%, it told the car you did like 30% (no idea on the exact amount)
remember zmax? tons of people swore by it, later found out it was mineral oil.
i work for a electronics retailer. and its sad how many people swear by the monster 3 video cables, saying how much of a better picture you can get etc etc. tests have proven there no better than a mid line cable, its all snake oil
im not ripping on him, just trying to save him some money, spend it on worthwhile mods.

For a car that runs 9'* in 0-60 you sure are fast. I mean all those stickers, she must have $hit her pants when she saw your car.
Sorry, I just dont see how you think plugs, and a wing make you do 0-60 in mid 6'*
Damn I admit my car is slow as hell, and I KNOW for a fact, that a CAI, full exhaust, a chip, and new ignition system would make me run low 8'* if im lucky. Your car right now is about as equivalent as a stock 3.1L grand am from around 1994.

Im still waiting.
And you havent felt a pull until youve been in a NSX. 0-60 in under 4 secs, with 4 point racing harness........I wish I owned the car, but its my friends neighbours. Shame he sold it......ill try and get a pic up.....it was sick...
