Best bang for buck brakes?
Getting new pads and rotors for the Bonne since the whole car shakes when I touch the brakes and I'm wondering what would the best value parts be to get from Advance or O-rielys? Not gonna touch AutoJunk (AutoZone). I also get a 10% discount at Advance.

I've always used Monore brake parts and have never had any trouble with them. There are probably better ones for cheaper out there, but those are easiest for me to get.

X2 for NAPA Ceramics. Advance/Autozone/whatever.... Discount auto parts means just that. IF you use one of their house brands, it'* all China/Korean Junk.
If you can wait for deleivery, rockauto has alot of name brands and ceramic for cheap for your year.

If you get slotted rotors, the car will still shake somewhat; regardless: been there, done that, stopped on a dime many, many times.

Just put Wagner ceramics/ thermo quiets on both front and rear and Wagner rotors. Flawless fit, flawless install, no need for red anti-squeak stuff. Had to break hard on I90 and full confidence. Bought them at Rockauto and they have a rebate.
Don't forget you need the rubics cube looking tool to get the rear caliper piston to retract.

When I buy brakes from O'Reilly I usually get the name brand rotors, usually Wagner since they have lifetime warranty. Haven't had to buy brakes in awhile though, too much swapping of cars lately. Gonna try one of their midlevel brands ceramics this time though.
