Why is it that half of the stuff I see on the 3800 L27 says 9.0 to 1 compression when its really 8.5 to 1 ... The only change was in 95 with the L36 at 9.4 to 1, and thats listed correctly...
The 3300 V6 and the old 3.0V6 were 9.0 to 1 compression...
The 3300 ( And I have seen messed up numbers on this engine as well ) made 160 Hp and 200 Ft lbs...
Maybe we should get some flat tops for an L27 and see what we get

I'm still not so sure that compression ratio bump is true... I have found so much conflicting info on that.... I have found various service manuals that list it as 8.5 to 1 and some as 9.0 to 1...
I have even found servive manuals that list the L36 as 9.0 to 1 when its actually 9.4 to 1...
we need to be able to compare the heads and pistons of the LN3, L27 and LG7
