Corporate owned fleet vehicle for a company executive. He was given the car when he retired. I bought it from his widow (this is the SSEi). Car was actually in storage for 5 years (verified by carfax) after his death, before she sold it to me through a wholesaler friend of the family.
SLE was owned by two consecutive retired couples before I bought it.

Mine was bought by an older couple and traded in for a new car and sold at auction to a used car dealer. When I bought it the carfax showed 2 registrants. original owner and the dealer I bought it from.

OK, a little more insight on mine'* history. It was bought new in 93 by friends of my dad'* at Georgia Square Pontiac in Athens, GA. They drove the car until 97, babied it, regular tune-ups, etc. In 97 they traded it to Claude Ray Ford here in Elberton (I even have a set of Claude Ray mats to go in the car) where another of my dad'* friends bought it. He drove 3 kids around in it, and didn't take care of it to save his life. When I got it, it was dirty beyond nasty, stuff was broken on it, there were Skittles melted to the carpet under the seats! I found half candy bars under the back seat! Now she'* babied again, and I'm trying to hunt down the original owner.

My 2000 had one owner, purchased in Utica, NY. They were "well to do" and owned many cars....which is why it only had 31k miles on it when I bought it 5 years later.

Rental Car company bought it and put 25k miles on it from 1993-1994, then an old lady bought it and brought it up to a grand total of about 38,600 miles and sold it in 2002 to a mailman who tried to use it for his route... within 50 miles and less than a month he sold it to me cause it was WAY too fricken wide for a mail man to drive from the passenger seat.
So i bought it in 2002 with around 38,600 miles on the clock.... technically the fourth owner...
Mostly well cared for all its life... theres some weird engine noises, but im at 94,000 miles now and no magor issues to speak of except for one trans rebuild because i drove too far on not enough fluid.

1992 - Dad bought it new and still owns it so...yes we know where its been
1998 - NO CLUE about anything. Its been rear ended. Only records we have are what the Pontiac dealer printed out. Its a good car though.
