back when Pontiac actually advertised the Bonneville
I saw this on ebay, does anyone know which issue of which magazine this advertisement for "The All-New, Supercharged Pontiac SSEi - A Higher Level Of Excitement" appeared in? Or any other examples of Bonneville advertising and where it appeared. There'* a used magazine store near-by, if I know what issue to look for, I might be able to find it.

I think I will be searching for these ad'*. I have a 60'* bonneville ad, for of course a 60'* bonneville. However, I have NEVER in my whole 14 years on this planet, seen ANY advertising for the Bonneville. Except other people driving one, and people falling in love from there

When I was younger I remember flipping through National Geographic and seeing several Bonneville ads in the front or back of the magazine. That was LONG before I owned one. A couple years ago I decided to go back and see how many ads there were. I went through at least 40 magazines and found at least 10 ads. But like others, I haven't really seen any lately. Maybe they don't need to advertise them that much because most people who get a Bonneville get another one. :? Bonnevilles are pretty common around here, even new ones, despite the lack of advertising.

I remember seeing a few commercials for them in 2000. One was where they had one blow by Buckingham palace and one of the gaurds (the ones where they arent supposed to move or speak) gets his hat blown off and gets this surprised expression on his face and says "Wow!"
The other was of how it was "personalized", had the owners name come up on the DIC and the seat moved to his preferred comfort.
