I sympathize with you. I had an experience much like yours with gmpd. You got a bad deal, that'* all there is to it. Hope you get things resolved soon.

Options?

www.rmsautoparts.com

or

Dal at VanDevere:
(877) 448-5451
lockitup@bright.net

Both offer great pricing (as good or better than GMPD), and great service. Not to mention realistic shipping prices, unlike GMPD.

http://www.gmpartscheap.com/

Decent place to order GM parts from. The prices are between what you'd pay at GMPD and a local dealer. And the shipping is fairly reasonable.

i completely understand your frustration. To sum things up, the light is backordered, that is what it is and there is nothing you can do about that. however you do have a legitimate complaint about their terrible communication skills.

mike, keep in mind that it is not GMPDs fault that the part is unavailable.. if its backordered with GMPD, its backordered at all dealers and it may be more difficult to find one locally any sooner, AND you would be paying double the price.

Not to mention the fact that it would also be backordered or unavailable on the sites linked here in this topic.

True, unless the site has it in stock and didn't have to order it.

Give them a call, and they'll look up and add any AC Delco part you want. They cater to the B, F, and Y body guys, but they'll help you out.

None of those sites STOCK parts. They are all drop-shippers.
