89BonnieSE89, One item I wanted to share with you. Keep an eye on the shift indicator light. I was getting off of a trip late one night from the airport and when I started to leave I had no light in the shift indicator. wtf over I said. With the car in park and you jiggled the shifter the light came on. I figured a loose connection maybe. I took it in the next day and had it fixed. The repair write-up said "Repaired open wires to shift indicator socket". Just a piece of info to keep tucked away for a rainy day. btw if you ever need the part numbers for the gold emblems here they are.
1-25651621 Emblem 33.60
1-25651623 PLT-R/CMP 16.50

Sweet, thanx Aviator. Something to keep an eye out for. So far all the lights are working. I'm under the impression that you mean the green glowy area at the gear shift.

Oh yes, and perfect, the gold emblems are my favourite, if anything happens to them, I'll need the P/N'*

IMO the best feature, is the idiot lights on the steering wheel, make a corner and letl the wheel fly around very cool. And the framless glass, open the down with the window door....no frame....sexy.

I racked up 205km in 2 days not even an 1/8th tank of fuel...I can't believe it. Whatta deal I got
I still can't believe it displays the date on the dash. It'* a slick ride...needs mods though.

Mods now would we?

Ok, well, dual silencer style chrome tips on either side, 20% tint all around, xenon bulbs (HID'* from a Z8 was an idea, but they don't fit ), custom plates NRTH STR and an air intake system. No need for audio, its already top of the line....

Jim.. Do i need to tell you why aftermarket audio is that much better then ANY premium sound in ANY car? Yes even the $3k mark levinson in the lexus SC.... Although that changes the tonal balance so the music sounds the same when the tops down, or up... Pretty sweet!

I want to keep the interior looking bone stock. Its a little to nice in there to be placing after market decks. I'm not a loud music fan either, so what I have is just fine. We'll see in the future, for now I likes it. I have all the digital presets to, Jazz, Rock, Pop, Vocal, Concert Hall etc. So I don't want to lose that option

Yeah for most listening levels most upscale newer GM systems do kick ***! If you were like me and had a tape deck you would be going for an Mp3 deck VERY FAST... Anywho i bet that thing is nice and smooth for jazz and such.

You bet, the bass level is great, the speakers in the doors are totally hidden (cept for the 2 tweet beside the seat warmers) its cool cuz it makes your leg tickle...

Great car...

89BonnieSE89, That'* the one I am talking about except on the 99 the backlit color was an off-white with the red line indicator for the positions. The mechanic had to remove the console to get to it. Never had a problem with it again. The back lighting in the steering wheel is nice isn't it? 243 post and still climbing.
