Default '95 Pontiac Bonneville SSE Exhaust Trim(?)

My car has two "exhaust ports" cut into the molding of the SSE body, with two rectangular fitting pieces I would classify as exhaust trim. Metal, attached to the body with a couple of bolts. I've got a broken one. Any ideas on where to get another?

Thanks!

Tony

Once again, I left my magic book at home. I'll get you the 8-digit part number from the book, and you can order from www.gmpartsdirect.com

Usually a 40-50% discount from dealer retail. You may end up wanting to buy 2 so they look the same! I actually just painted mine, cuz I got tired of cleaning them. Hi-temp flat black. Goes well with my blacked-out taillights.

Welcome to the forum!

(Jr, if you're on today and read this, can you beat me to the part number? Or Deathrat?)

You talking about the rear exhaust shields? If so, on the 92/93'* they're
LH 25553415 & RH 25553416 Not sure if the 95'* use the same ones or not. :?

I'll check on this tonight. My book will have them broken out by year. We'll see if the 95 is the same, but I bet it is. 96 was the subtle body styling change year when the shields changed to a more oval design.

Rat, one of my books confirms those part numbers, but www.gmpartsdirect.com says they're invalid now. Looks like old numbers. My other book shows them now only sold as a pair (and good for all 92-95 SSE and SSEi'*):

GM PART # 12535877
CATEGORY: All
PACK QTY: 1 CORE CHARGE: $0.00
GM LIST: $55.27
OUR PRICE: $32.61

I got the P/N'* from my own GM Parts Manual. So that is entirely possible that the numbers change up.

i'm too lazy to look at how much gmpartsdirect is selling them for but you might want to try a salvage yard.
