'94 Olds 98 - Dare I say it?
Light blue w/ blue cloth, bench seats, the nice 15-inch alloy wheels, almost brand new tires (Firestones up front, Goodyears in back), great paint save for one specific thing (see below), GREAT condition, only notable problem being the paint fading and chrome delamination on the back bumper. 107k miles, Was asking $2900, book is conservatively $2915 (only Good condition, with options factored in)...
...and I got him to agree to $2500 cash
What do you guys think? Good deal? I looked at it today, and I'm calling him later tonight to tell him I'm gonna buy for that price, as long as we have my mechanic check it out and he gives it the okay.
Could this be the one? I can only hope...

You don't understand. It'* not that bad, the paint is just more faded than the rest of the car, it'* not faded out, and its ONLY on the back bumper. It'* not even on the trunk lid. Only the farthest rear part of the bumper, and the chrome can be easily and cheaply replaced, should I choose to do so. It'* that chickenshit chrome strip like on my Bonne SE, that little push-on plastic strip around the bumper edge. Chickenshit stuff when looking at the great condition of the rest of the car. It'* definitely worth the $2900 that he'* asking (this according to an accurate assessment of vehicle condition per Kelly Blue Book), and he'* only taking $2500. I think that'* a good deal... as long as I can get it checked by a mechanic...
