3800, the 8th Best Engine, Ever?
the guy at the dealer a couple months ago told me that the series2 was rated the 8th best engine ever. now, id love to add that fact to the description to my car, but i wont until i get some sort of clarification. is this true? whatve you heard?

These have been some great engines... In 88 the 3800 Vin C engine was the lowest friction engine of the time, and was a redesign of the 3.8... It was also designed to emitt less emissions.... All in all it was a durable motor and just kept improving
The 3800 II was a totall redesign of the C and L 3800'*... It was designed to again lower emissions, make more power, and do it all with less weight both internally and blockwise... The emissions of the 3800II in 95-96 was down to dust when the cat warmed up... Or almost nothing... Very clean engines
