No bolt on yoke TH400 was ever in a Car. A truck with a carrier bearing & a 2 or 3 section drive-shaft, yes, NEVER a car. All Car TH400'* are slip yokes, even when a double cardin type rear joint housing is bolted to the rear diff.

My family has been Buying parts form the Caughlin Family since the 1960'*. Maybe you have heard of their business, JEG'*.

I was in Jegs on 11th with my Dad back around 1998. Jeg Sr. came over to say Hello and ask my dad where he'd been. A few people who have and still may still, work there Know me.

That didn't stop one of them from getting me the wrong parts. I even gave them the Jegs part number of what I wanted.

Every race shop has at least "one". Every Repair shop does too.

the poor running, you said it was a dog when it warmed up. thats what mine was doing when the poppets were bad, but im cheap so i let it go and it started to get bad enough that it was stalling if i was at a stop light for too long, but if you were driving all you would know is the fuel trim started getting worse and worse.

Yea, that sounds about right. I see you can buy just the poppit nozzles online. Wonder if they would work?

the problem is the design you dont want to put another crap one on there. the mpfi ones have regular electronic injectors at the end of the tubes. there is a reason they didnt use that design for long and the ones they started warrantying were replaced with the delphi mpfi kit strait from gm/dealers
