When I say it is the Lincoln version of the Thunderbird, I mean it literally. It is a Continental Mark III. Ford made use of the same chassis for the Mark III and the Thunderbird. I know that '67 had the four door T-bird with suicide doors, but Lincoln never made a four door Mark III, IV, V, VII, or VIII. They only tried that for the short-lived Mark VI from 1980-1983.
I think that the 427 was actually under rated for HP. I heard that it was closer to 500 hp than what the book said. Too much pressure from insurance companies and a mounting debate in Congress.

Hehe true the 427 is a very nice engine. I didnt know you meant it literally and I dont think Ive ever seen a car such as yours. Atlease I dont think so I may have seen one and not known what it was at a car show or something.... Anyways I went with the 460 for torqe and Hp ... I got as much torque as a damn monster truck...
