if you ask me, any car with 150k on it should have new struts going on soon, if they arent completely shot by then, they will certainly be well worn out

I agree, though I'd go as far as to say I'd replace shocks/struts at around 90k personally. It'* not noticable if you drive the car everyday, but once you step into something else, THEN get back into the car you can definately tell a difference between the newer suspension.
The suspension life on the 2000+ doesn't seem to be any different than that of previous years really.
