I just found a 1999 Bonneville SSEi for sale for $5500/bo. I am going to the bank tomorrow and see what kind of payment plan I can get. The car has 142,000 miles, but it is a one owner car (one owner being a female). It has every option except the chrome torquestar rims. Has cassette radio with the factory 12-disc changer, moonroof, lumbar seats, and pretty much all the other SSEi goodies. I am thinking I'll try and get it for $4800-5000'ish. Does that sound like it would be worth it? I did a carfax report on it and it came up CLEAN. Black with dark grey leather interior.
If I can afford the 1999 I will buy it, put the 4T-60E HD trans in (the 1994 SLE), get a new/different computer, and then sell the SLE.
Lately funds have been pretty dang tight, but a deal like this doesn't come around often enough.
What do you folks think?

HOLY HELL! THAT IS F'N CHEAP!!!!!!!
If you can't get the funds let me know where it is, I think I could convince my parents to come up with $5500 to lend me.
I hope you get this car, that is a STEAL.

I did a little searching and came across a silver 1996 SSEi one owner with 95,000 one owner miles. Asking $5900/bo. Bad part about the 1996 (comparing to the 1999) is that it has the 4T60E-HD whereas the 1999 has the 4T65E-HD.
Here'* a pic of the 1999
