1994 Buick Park Avenue Ultra
Ok here'* the deal. I was out looking at cars this evening and came across a 94 Park Avenue. It has all the options except a moonroof and it'* even supercharged. Only problem I can see is it has hail damage and the right front fender needs to be replaced as part of it is missing. I haven't test drove it yet but I'm planning on doing that monday or tuesday. They are asking $3900 O.B.O. What does everything one think? If they let me I plan on trading my 89 in on it. I know the price seems high, but it seems like all vehicles sale high in wyoming. And finding one with that low of mileage is also hard to find. I really like the fact that it'* supercharged as well. Can someone give me all the specs on this car so I know what i'm looking at exactly. Or should I wait until an SSEi comes available?

Those PA'* are a classy ride, if you like fluff and luxury then the Buick is the way to go. Sounds like the body work is minor. Or you can wait for the more aggressive Bonne SSEi
I made my choice with the Aurora, no regrets

The same lot also had a 95 Aurora with all the options and the moonroof. They wanted $5500 for it but I'd still rather have the supercharged V6 over the V8 Aurora.

DO NOT BUY IT for that price. They can, should and will come down.
My parents just bought a 1993 Park Avenue Ultra in damn near perfect condition (only needed the coolant temp sensor) with 63,000 miles for $4000. Absolutely no damage at all. I too has everything but the sunroof. It has the Gran Touring suspension with the 16" rims, and anything else that could be had.
At the same time they bought that I thought they could get one for cheaper and sure enough it took me only 10 seconds on www.msn.com and I found a 1993 Buick Park Avenue Ultra with 113,000 miles on it from the original owner for only $1800 needing tires only. Too bad I din't try and go look at it before the weekend (3 days later) as it sold the day after I called.
4 years ago my parents bought a 1992 Park Avenue Ultra for $2500 with 130,000 miles on it. Given that'* kinda high, for the dollar you couldn't beat that.
I don't know what websites are for buying and selling used cars in your area, but you might try:
www.cars.com (newspaper classifieds from major regional papers)
www.carsoup.com
www.autotrader.com
and I am sure there are a load of them.
Anyhow, good luck and be sure to check in here before you dig yourself a hole -we're watching out for you and everyone else here.

If they _are_ promising to get things fixed before you buy, make sure you get that promise in writing. They usually have a little form called a "We Owe" which itemizes repairs required as a condition of the sale. (They don't have to be _done_ before the sale; they just have to be _documented_ before the sale.)
Dunno about that purchase price; I don't know local resale values in your part of the woods. Get the current values from your insurance agent, bank or credit union to see if that price is reasonable.

Well I made up my mind on the car before I even went to test drive it. My finances aren't right at this time and I'm gonna wait until I can get some money saved. Even though the supercharger is very apealing. My Bonny is serving it'* purpose for the time being and I'm not about to part with it. So i'm gonna stick with my old standby until an SSEi comes my way when the finances are right.
