00+ center tail lightup part deux
so my trunk piece been acting up lately, sometimes its only half lit up, sometimes half is dimmed out and sometimes its fine...(refer to this pic for more info Trunk Tail Light Picture )
so few days ago i decided to disconnect it and redo the whole thing...
Currently theres only one led strip inside the tail light
I just placed an order for 2x38" red led strips, i still have 4 extra clips just incase i broke them agian, they are a PITA to remove
http://www.superbrightleds.com/cgi-b...B96.htm#photos
Main reason i ordered two i have 2 ideas in mind:
1- Make the center tail light a little brighter to match the outsides a little more by placing one on top of the tail light and one at the buttom, connect them bother together
2- Make center piece act same as the parking/brake lamps. So top strip will be connected to parking lamps and the buttom strip will be connected to the brake lamps. This way the top one is always on and the buttom one will trun on to set it brighter when you hit the brakes
so far im leaning towards number one, same as before i think it'll be too much brake light if i do number 2. but its always an option
any ideas?

thanks for the input guys, i should get the lights in a week and thats when the project starts
i will have them wired up both ways, thanks to the 3rd light being right under the spoiler connecting it to the brake lamp should be very simple. also it'll be very easy to switch back and forth.

sorry man been very busy with work and life
i have it all finished up and put back together.
few things i can update you with, the above LED strips are much better than the catera lights i used the first time i did this, using two made the center light up a little more than the sides (it doesnt show that much but kinda bothers me). it allows much better sealing when you're done.
also make sure you have extra clips, the clips on it now are easy to break, and trust me you dont wanna finish it all up and put it up without clips
i dont have any good pics, just cellphone pics.
but my rims are going on this week and some major cleaning, i will post pics after
btw, i went with just the running lights
