If you get the car fixed, MAKE SURE they use either good used OEM parts, or new OEM parts, aftermarket parts suck. My friend uses my garage to paint and do body work on cars from time to time. I have seen people bring him a car and a new aftermarket fender, 9 times out of 10 the cruched up one fits better then the new aftermarket one. Although I did buy an aftermarket one for my old GTP and it fit perfect.

I thought the OEM exhaust tips were a lot cheaper than that.

GMPD IIRC was $36 a pair.

Then you'd have to figure in shipping

Which can be expensive with GMPD.

I'd say. I'm shocked at the variance of the estimates, 2 are from Pontiac dealers, 2 are from "hole in the wall" private shops
Thats the difference between OEM parts and aftermarket.

Good luck either way
Everywhere i shopped around in town here for work was using good used body panels, and spraying to match with correct paint. No reason to get new OE ones anyways. The huge dealer in town managed to have the best price too, with perfect paint results.
Sometimes its up to the Insurance adjuster to reuse good panels and refinish them, but sometimes it may be cheaper to just buy an aftermarket replacment part. You would think that with all of the money we pay the insurance companies, they wouldnt be so Cheap

They can do most whatever they like sometimes. I hate being legally forced to give them profit.

oh h*** yeah. However I can get a 99 SSEi for $4000 thats only an 8 hour drive, I'm thinking about selling the 93 and using the settlement money to pay for the 99.

Theres also a 1997 SSEi in Arizona for $4500 with only 80,000 miles. Thats a steal I think.

Something is missing on both cars, look at the front doors.
The badge on the pass door on the green one, and the badge on the driver door on the white one. I like the white one myself.

it'* there on the white one. Just a fuzzy picture and the badge itself is mostly white so it blends in with the angle.

I'm in contact with both cars trying to talk the price down so I dont have to pay any money.

The insurance check is in the mail as of today. The car was NOT totalled out, the market value was $2800 however I faxed them over the recent repairs..transmission...M65....HUD Windshield etc and he agreed to send the check of $3600 and NOT give the car a salvage title. Its a good day.

As far as buying another car and getting rid of this one, It may take a while, I'm waiting for the right one to come up since theres no rush.
